I have girly nails.

Yes, I did something I have been wanting to do for a while now. I got me some nails.

The sad fact is, my nails can grow long. And they do. Quite often. But not all at the same time. Just about the time I am ready to paint them all nice and pretty, one breaks.

Phooey.

So today I had those tip thingies put on. Then, as some of you probably know, they slather on some gel-like stuff and sand and smooth them, file them all nice (I had mine rounded to hopefully look more natural), and paint them.

I chose a shiny plum color. They're purty.

Now my fingers make this tinny tap-a-tap-tap when I type.

I'm going for bright red next time. Ah, the things that can give me a thrill now-a-days.
