Nicole feels

I think he had a good day. We didn't have an official party, but the entire day was filled with fun activities for him. He chose a breakfast of Trix cereal, then we went on to church. I took a cake and afterwards many (about 30 or more) folks stayed around to sing to him and have some SpongeBob cake.

He chose Applebee's for his lunch (how many 4 years olds would choose Applebees?...but you didn't hear us complaining). They even brought him a hot fudge sundae, which he and his daddy shared.

We had to go back to the church to finish straightening up, but he and "Sissy", Nathan, and his buddy, Pat (he is a 19-year-old member of our church and close family friend) played soccer in the fellowship hall. On the way back to our house, Parker proclaimed, "Pat is a good man. He is a good teamer!" That cracked us up!

He had Cubbies that evening and for the first time stayed on his own (yippe!). He told everyone, "I am four now!" His final meal selection of the day was nuggets at good 'ole Mickey D's (now he was thinking like a four year old!).

He finished out the evening opening gifts from MD family and us, with Pat and his girlfriend, Jen, looking on. His favorite gift, I believe, is the SpongeBob Square Pants DVD, which he has been watching all day today!
