I think January 1st should be International Pajamas Day.

Forget New Year's Day sales, visiting family-folk, and black-eyed peas and collard greens.

Take a quick shower, if you must, and jump back into your pj's, preferably the baggie, drawstring, flannel kind.

Throw a turkey in the oven (perhaps I am weird, but there is just something cathartic about shoving handfuls of gooey stuffing into its bowels...), and then plant yourself on the couch with a good book, a college ball-game, or (my personal choice) your laptop and do something all of us need more of in our lives.

RELAX.
