|Tuesday, Jun. 14, 2005 || Nary a dull moment...|
Last day of kids-in-class for me. The next three days will be spent finalizing grades, babysitting during lunches, and checking out.
The "real" teacher is supposed to come in tomorrow with her little cutie to help with the check-out mess.
And I actually had a child apologize to me today for being a jerk yesterday.
Miracles never cease.
In other news, we still don't know if we are staying or going, I have some new siding on the front of the house (the non-brick areas), and the long-neglected utility room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and hallway are finally being painted. It only took Rob a year or so to realize he needed to hire someone to do it.
Oh, and we planted grass. And it's growing. Well, somewhat. Some of the seed was washed away in a deluge last week, but we actually have little bitty blades of green stuff trying it's best to fill in some bare spots.
That's if it survives the heat wave we are having. It went from springy-chilly to hellishly hot in the blink of an eye.
Nope, nary a dull moment around here.
Ain't ya jealous?
